Speaking up for children and educating the public about the dire need for volunteers, what it means to be a GAL, and raising  money for the Children's Assistance Fund.

Hickory Community Theatre
The Hickory Community Theatre is a volunteer based, nonprofit organization that exists to offer quality live theatre, provide lifelong learning opportunities, and foster creative expression throughout the community in a fiscally responsible manner.  Bill is a past board member and current legal advisor and has facilitated board retreats for this great arts group.  He's been seen on stage there as well as directed many productions.

The Green Room Community Theatre
Bill is currently on the board of this non-profit organization in Newton, NC dedicated to strengthening the quality of life in Catawba County and surrounding communities through the preservation and growth of the dramatic arts.  Audiences there may remember Bill portraying many of the citizens of Tuna, Texas.

Poetry Hickory

From local folks trying out their stuff at an open mic to internationally published poets, this is the place to be for poetry.

Exodus Homes
A faith-based United Way agency, offering transitional and permanent supportive housing for homeless recovering addicts, alcoholics, and formerly incarcerated people returning to our community from treatment programs and prison.

Women's Resource Center

This nonprofit agency empowers women and serves as a referral agency to those who are struggling with difficult situations or moving toward new beginnings.  They also highlight women in the community through their "Inspiring Women" events.  Bill has provided many hours of pro bono legal service to WRC.

United Arts Council of Catawba County

Bill Morgan served as a board member for this agency committed to transforming and strengthening the cultural life of our community through grants, marketing, fundraising, advocacy and education.

ALFA
Bill was the past president and board member of this regional organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of those infected and affected by, and at risk for, HIV/AIDS.  He currently serves as legal advisor.
